My Top Boy Names

As we announced yesterday, this weeks theme is boy names!  So I thought I would share my top boy names and what names I also like!

1. Jackson Michael --> I have liked the name Jackson for awhile and it's stayed in my top boy names list!  I think Jackson goes great with Michael and Michael is honor of my grandfather <3.  I love the combo!!
2. Mason Reed --> Mason is another name that has stayed in my top boy names for awhile.  I like the sound of Mason Reed and Reed is a family name that I would like to carry on.
3. Brayden Elliot --> Brayden is a more recent favorite and so is this combo!  I think it sounds great and just a cute combo!
4. Connor William --> Connor is a name that I have always liked but I go through phrases of loving it and having it on my top names.  William is another family name and I like this set!
5. Nolan Andrew --> Nolan is another name that is a name that I have liked for awhile and Andrew is in honor of my brother Drew!

Nature Theme BNG

Autumn Rose & Jett Michael has been married for almost 3 years when they decide they are ready to become a family of 3!  It takes them almost 18 months before they get pregnant, they are so happy!  So they are shocked with it's TWINS!  2 girls!

Shortly after the twins are born Jet get's a job opportunity in Colorado!  Name the town they move to (make it a nature name)

 

Shortly after moving they find out they are pregnant!  Another girl!!!

They are content with the 3 girls!  But other plans were set for this family!  Autumn's sister is a single mom to 3 month twins and when she dies in a bad car accident Autumn and Jet decide to take the twins in.  The twins (boy and girl) had nature/flower names.  Ones initials are PL and the others is MR.  3. The couple gets a dog 5 months later and want to name it in honor of Autumn's sister, Daisy Harper.  4. What do they name the dog?

Talkin Bout Girl Names

Well hello there and happy Monday!  It's a new week and that means the start of the new theme!  Like we announced yesterday, this weeks theme is GIRL names!

I've always been one to find and like girl names easily.  A lot more easier then boy names!

Today i'm going to look at the top 20 girl names according to SSA for 2013!

1. Sophia -- Means wisdom in Greek -- I love this name!  I have loved it for the longest time and I could definitely see myself using this name one day :)
2. Emma -- Means "Whole" or "Universe" -- I definitely like this name and think  it is cute!  Not sure I could see myself naming a child this though 
3. Olivia -- Means olive -- I think this is such a cute girls name!  I think of little blonde hair cute little girls when I think of an Olivia!
4. Isabella -- Form of Isabel -- Another cute name!  Though I don't like the name as much as I use to!
5. Ava -- Variant of Eve -- LOVE this name!  I have always loved it and definitely could see myself naming my little girl this name
6. Mia -- Means "mine" -- I think of another adorable girl with this name!  Cute, but not something I would use!
7. Emily -- Means striving -- I think this name is an ageless name that just works for any age and is cute!
8. Abigail -- Means "The Fathers Joy" -- I really love the nickname Abby from Abigail but not a huge fan of Abigail.  I definitely never see myself using this name!
9. Madison -- Surname derived from Matthew 'gift of God' or from Matilda 'strong fighter -- Once again I love the nickname Maddy from Madison but not a huge fan of the name in general and probably wouldn't ever use it.
10. Elizabeth -- Meaning "Oath of God" -- I'm a little bias about this name since it's my middle name!  I probably would never use it as a first name but definitely would pass it down as a middle name.  I think it's another ageless name also!
11. Charlotte -- Means "femininely manly" -- I find the meaning of this name a little strange but I think it's cute, ageless and something I could use someday!
12. Avery -- Means "Rules with Elf-wisdom  -- I use to be a big fan of this name but like Ava better then Avery.
13. Sofia -- Means wise -- Over the years I have came to like this spelling more then Sophia spelling.  I think it looks more elegant and classic.  I would definitely rather use this spelling over Sophia spelling.  But then again when a child with this spelling is asked for her name people are more likely to spell it wrong with the Sophia spelling then the Sofia spelling so I have mixed feelings about it! 
14. Chloe -- Means "Green Herb" -- I think this is a sweet and cute name but a name I don't love or could ever see myself using
15. Ella -- Form of Ellen, Ellen means beautiful fairy -- I think it's a sweet name and a name that I wouldn't say that I would for sure never use.  It's been on and off my favorites list.
16. Harper -- Means harpist -- This is a name that I have came to like within the last couple years.  I like it but it definitely doesn't go with my other favorite girl names so I wouldn't probably use it!
17. Amelia -- Means Defender -- Not a bad name but not my favorite or style!
18. Aubrey -- Means "Rules with elf-wisdom" -- Another name that has been off and on my favorites list.  I think it's cute and definitely a name that i could possible see myself using one day :)
19. Addison -- Means "son of adam" -- This is a name that i've always liked but could never use as my cousin is named it!  Cute name!
20. Evelyn -- Means life -- I find this name another type of name that is very Elegant and classic and I probably won't use it.

Twins BNG

In honor of Twins Themed Week for this BNG you will be having/naming twins!  Hope you enjoy :)

You (Nicole Elizabeth) is married to Scott Matthew.  You were married on June 15, 2000.  You had know of each other in High School, but didn't start talking until your sophomore year of College.  Before you knew it you two went on a date and 4 years later you were engaged before getting married 20 months later!

You both have twin's running in your families but were shocked when you got pregnant with twins!  On November 23, 2002 you gave birth to a baby girl and a baby boy!  The baby girl was born first at 5:07AM.  She was already very vocal and loud and already has daddy's little finger wrapped around her.  You want her middle name to be her mommy's middle name (Elizabeth) which is also her grandma's and great great grandma's middle name.  You want her first name to go well with Elizabeth and be somewhat unique but still in the top 100 name's for year 2002!  The baby boy was born at 5:09AM and is way more laid back then his sister.  Sissy is definitely is charge!  You want his middle name to be Scott after his daddy and also want his first name to be somewhat unique but in the top 100 names for 2002!  Your husband and you are SO in love with your bundle of joys!

2 1/2 years later after many sleepless nights, exhaustion, joys, firsts, new adventures, lots of learning, potty training, ect. you and your husband are ready to give your twins a baby sister or brother!  Shortly before the twin's 3rd birthday you get great news of that you are pregnant!  Well everyone is shocked when it is twin's again!  You all are very excited and scared to death!!

After a rough and exhuasting pregnancy you make it to 37 weeks when you give birth to two baby girls!  On June 3, 2006 at 1:46PM and 1:49PM the girls were born!  Both twins already seem to be laid back and happy going!  For the first girl you want her middle name to be Rose after losing your husband's great grandma Rose recently.  Her first name you want to go well with your other kid's name and to be something that symbolizes hope, faith, happiness or something similar to that.  For the second baby girl you want her middle name to be Paige in honor of your sister who recently was diagnosed with breast cancer.  For her first name it needs to flow with the other kids name and not to start with the same letter as the other twin's name as you don't want them to be too matchy.  You want this twin's first name to symbolize something similar to the other twin!

You and your husband have 4 amazing children and feel as your family is completely complete.  You have your hands full but you see your children as blessings.

2010 was a rough year for your family.  Scott's grandfather (James) dies of Alzheimer's.  Along with your father having a heart attack.  Scott and your family is shaken by both events.  While in grieving mood you notice you hadn't had your period and take a best to be safe.  You didn't plan on getting pregnant and thought your family was complete, but God had other plans.  On August 25, 2011 at 9:55AM (scott's grandfather's birthday) you give birth to a healthy baby boy!  You want to honor scott's grandfather not only because this baby boy was a miracle and shortly after his death and the fact he is born on James' birthday and have your son's middle name to be James.  You want his first name to be in the top 40 names of 2010!

Let's Talk Names

Can I just say that I haven't been into my favorite baby names in awhile and just can't seem to find a set that I completely love.  It frustrates me!!

Ava and Sophia have been on my list for years, I just love the names!  Middle names are something that are pretty set as I want to honor my family!  Middle names that I really want to use are Elizabeth (After me and my aunt and my great great grandma), Michael (Grandpa's middle name) and Reed (Dad's middle name and family name).

For me girl names are really use to find a bunch that I love.  I have always loved Ava, Sophia, Abigail (not as much anymore), Isabella, Olivia, Ella, ect.  (See...easy to find girl names I love!)

But boys...not so easy!  I like Jackson, but don't know if I can see myself using it.  Recently been liking Cohen and Brooks.  My girl names are typically popoular names, but not so much for my boys!  So it's hard to find boy names that go well with the popular girl names that I like.  Other boy names that I like are Brayden, Gavin (Can't use though because I have a cousin named Gavin!),  and I use to like Cooper and kinda liking it again!

I would love suggestions on other names that would go with the following combos I have liked or just put together!

Girls:
